Animal Aware (AWARE) provides rescue and rehabilitation services for abandoned, abused, and neglected dom
estic animals in Guatemala. The clinic spays and neuters the animals and conducts educational visits to schools and colleges within the area. They hope to build a free educational center within the clinic as well.
Volunteers work with the animals, educational programs, and daily site maintenance for two weeks or longer. Placement costs $5 per day, and accommodations are provided in a shared house.
