As a follow-up to last week’s post on boomer volunteering, let’s talk about teen volunteer programs, another growing segment in international service. These programs offer the opportunity for cross-cultural exchange, an engaging learning environment, and a chance at boosting teens’ community service involvement—all of which come in handy for the increasingly competitive college application process. Below are three groups providing volunteer abroad programs for the 18-and-under crowd.
