Introduction
AIDE Abroad is a nonprofit organization with a background of over 19 years of experience operating international exchange programs that have impacted the lives of more than 5,000 people. AIDE Abroad’s mission is to provide international experiences that impart professional and personal growth, develop leadership skills, and enhanceintercultural competence and understanding.
Types of Projects
Wildlife rescue center, teen mothers shelter, butterfly garden, amazon rainforest restoration, penguin & sea bird rehabilitation, teaching English, sea turtle preservation, sustainable agriculture, support the elderly, occupational therapy center, women's refuge center, children living with HIV, local weaving cooperative, women's rights ,organic farming and more!

Argentina, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Peru & South Africa
Timeline
Volunteers typically participate in our projects from 1 - 6 weeks. Some projects require more than one week, which is posted on our website: http://www.aideabroad.org/volunteer.asp
Accommodations
In most locations participants will stay with a host family, however for some projects lodge and dormitory accommodations are available.
Prerequisites
* must be at least 18 years old * must be eligible to attain a tourist visa in the chosen country * some knowledge of the local languageV
Costs
The prices vary slightly depending upon the country and location, but they are more in the range of 2 weeks for $1295 and $175 for all additional weeks. This includes pre-departure packet, airport pickup, onsite orientation, meals and accommodation, onsite cooroVfoor and 24/7 support.
