Introduction

We exist to provide education to the quarter of Latin American children who are not in school.

Types of Projects

Educating poor children, support for pregnant teens (teens who have often been forced into that situation as a result of abuse) and micro-economic development for impoverished mothers in some of Peru’s poorest areas.

Locations

For short term volunteer opportunities, we take on volunteers for our various projects in Trujillo.

Timeline

Minimum - 1 month. No limit. The record is 6 years and 6 months.

Accommodations

Volunteers stay in a city centre apartment, a couple blocks from the Plaza de Armas (the main square). Volunteers share rooms (with others of the same sex) in rooms for two or four people. The apartment is equipped with a computer, wireless internet, television (with plenty of programs in English) and a fully equipped kitchen.
