English Volunteers for Change

Introduction

Be a part of this amazing program in Costa Rica. This program allows you to teach, explore and make a difference in this beautiful country. English Volunteers for Change is part of a national initiative developed by former Costa Rican president Mr. Oscar Arias. This program was developed to provide English classes to those communities and locals who cannot access regular classes.

Types of Projects

Teach English for 3 to 12 months to adult community members.

Locations

Costa Rica. In the Puntarenas, Central Valley, Guanacaste, Limon regions in rural communities.

Timeline

Three months or longer

Accommodations

Volunteers will live with a Costa Rican host family during the time they are in Costa Rica.

Prerequisites

TESOL/TEFL certificate and/or Teaching Experience University degree Basic spanish preferred
