Introduction
Project Vision To help Orphans and vulnerable children in poor living conditions achieve quality education and basic needs like food, shelter and clothing as well as helping Persons affected and infected by HIV/AIDS infection. Project Mission To offer education, basic needs through love and hope to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate children around the centre.
Types of Projects
Feeding, HIV/AIDS counciling, education, community development, grantwriting, fundraising, sports, teaching, social work
Locations
Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya
Timeline
One week minimum, eight hours per day
Accommodations
Host families in secure houses.
Prerequisites
16 or older; English speaking
Costs
Volunteers have free accommodations, but pay a support fee of $100 per week per person.
