Introduction
Iko Poran works with around forty different local community organizations in Rio de Janeiro. We work with them to develop volunteer programs to cater to the specific challenges these organizations face, while benefiting the communities they serve. At the same time, the programs provide positive experiences for the foreign volunteers as they see at first hand the social and/or environmental impact of their work.
