Types of Projects

Children's Health and Identification project where we take volunteers into the mountains of Honduras to make children's ID cards containing the child's picture, fingerprints, and other vital information. This program is designed to cut down on child abductions in an area where thousands of children goe missing every day.

Timeline

This program is Year round, but volunteers must sign up and be registered with PFC. A volunteer can stay as long as they like and work with us.

Accommodations

Excellant. All volunteers stay with us at our home Hacienda La Esperanza: www.haciendalaesperanza.org

Prerequisites

Volunteers must have the ability to take pictures of the children. The job involves going from village to village and taking pictures of each child and recording health data . Most work days start at 6 AM and end by 1 PM

Costs

Fees run about $688 per week and include all meals and rooms as well as guides, vehicle transportation, and specialized gear. This price does not include the cost of travel to Honduras.
