Introduction
Proyecto Yannick is a project in Celendín, a small city in the northern Andes of Peru.
Proyecto Yannick wants to help children with Down's Syndrome by offering services to develop themselves as much as possible. Furthermore we want to make a positive change on the image of children/adolescents/adults with Down's Syndrome, to help the parents lose their shame and offer more opportunities in general for them to participate in daily life. Besides that we would like to improve the knowledge about their rights and offer help to make society respect those rights.
Types of Projects
Teaching and caring for children with Down's Syndrome. English education in the community also is available.

Prerequisites
Spanish is helpful but not required. Experience working with children with Down's Syndrome is encouraged, but other work is available too.
