Sustainable Bolivia

Introduction

Sustainable Bolivia is a 501(c) 3 non profit organization whose specific goals are to provide Bolivian grass-roots organizations with much needed human and financial resources while providing international students and professionals the opportunity to gain practical work experience through internships and volunteer opportunities in Bolivia.

Types of Projects

Projects focusing on the rights of vulnerable individuals, helping homeless women/children, microfinance, assisting in health clinics, working with children with special needs and ecological programs.

Locations

We are based in Cochabamba, Bolivia and we work with various partner organizations throughout the city.

Accommodations

Sustainable Bolivia offers a range of accommodations based on personal preferences and length of stay. We provide accommodations with local families as well as comfortable rooms centrally located in downtown Cochabamba’s cultural district.

Prerequisites

Volunteers must be 18 or older. Requirements vary by position and are listed at the bottom of each page here.

Costs

Monthly Prices: Shared room $300/month, private room $400/month, family home stay $500/month. Weekly Prices: Shared room $100/week, private room $125/week, family home stay $150/week.
