Global Volunteer Network (GVN)
The Global Volunteer Network connects people with communities in need, providing volunteer placements with a particular focus on vulnerable women and children.
"We believe in inspiring learning, innovation, and action to unlock the potential of vulnerable communities around the world."
At GVN we align with the idea of 'local solutions to local problems', so we work with local community organizations in each country. We believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their needs, and we provide volunteers to help them achieve their goals.
When you volunteer with GVN, you can be assured you are helping a local grassroots organisation. Volunteer efforts directly benefit local groups, local communities, and local people. We work with our partner organizations to support them in achieving their goals and ensuring that their projects are sustainable and effective.
There is a variety of volunteer work you can be involved in with placements including:
Teaching Projects – Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Nepal, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam
